Models Leaving Chanel Couture Show

Yup, and they were seen in monochrome and simple outfits. I personally love the plaid shirt and cut-offs + miu miu bag that a model was wearing in the first picture.

The Trends = Leopard

Leopard is really 'in' these days. From Kate Moss to Kirsten Dunst all have the leopard thingie in their wardrobe. Mk was seen with her sister, Ashley in Louis Vuitton leopard scarf and a white Balenciaga clutch. Love their look here. Kate Moss was also seen wearing the same leopard scarf, but she mixed it with slouchy grey sweater and moccasins. Later, Super model Erin Wasson was photographed in a leopard vest and leather jacket. Her vest is so unique, I've never spotted leopard vest before! Anyway, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, the daughter of French vogue editor in chief, Carine Roitfeld, was seen in a party wearing a Givenchy Couture ombre leopard blazer and black Chanel bag. And don't forget about the cute leopard coat Kirsten was wearing when she was photographed leaving a cafe with friends.

A Bit Of Yellow

Ok, I know it's a bit too late, because sekarang kita sudah mulai beralih ke fall winter trends, tapi tidak ada salahnya dong untuk melihat sekilas warna-warna yang sedang 'in' dalam spring summer trends sebelumnya... Besides, we live in a 'always-summer' country right?! Lol. Anyway, warna kuning memang selalu mencuri perhatian, and I love how Mary-Kate combined her yellow Dior Babe bag with monochrome outfit. Nicole Richie was seen in a vintage Chanel airplane mini dress (love it! It's so summery) and a yellow Balenciaga First bag. Lindsay Lohan was also spotted out and about with her pal, Samantha Ronson, in a bright yellow tank and Balenciaga jeans + Bubblegum City bag. But my most favourite celebrity's outfit goes to Rachel Bilson, she was so chic in an oversized yellow scarf and black Rick Owens leather jacket. Simple yet so avant-garde. Oh, and by the way, did I already mention that I love the look of the yellow Yves Saint Laurent Tribute sandals?

Natasha Poly Loves Gucci

Yes she does! And she paired her fierce giant Gucci purse with Gucci black leather jacket, dark chocolate scarf, and black ray-bans. I adore her androgynous look.

Mk's Summer Attire

Mk is sure loving the mixture between blazer and cut-offs. She looked very chic leaving her apartment in an oversized black blazer, huge brown belt, ripped jean cut-offs, and brown gladiators. And don't forget about her vintage Fendy Spy bag! She was also spotted a while ago wearing pretty same outfit paired with Yves Saint Laurent black boots. But my favourite outfit of Mk is when Mk left her boyfriend's house wearing blazer, Louis Vuitton blouse, Chanel gladiators, and super quirky Marni glasses... Opinions, everyone?

Kate = CHIC

Kate Moss is such a fashion icon! She can wear the most basic things but still looked very chic. In the last picture you can see Kate was wearing white fringed fest, white flowy tee, and her basic skinny jeans. Also, she was spotted wearing grey tee and shredded Alexander Wang jean shorts.

Highlights On Resort 09

Alexander Wang has officially became my new faourite designer of the season! His collection always looks fresh and very chic. I love how he mixed the androgynous feeling with feminity. It's simple, understated, yet quirky at the same time. I totally dig the look of his fringed black cardigan (tres chic!) and his studded hat. I also love the white and sky blue flowy dress that is paired with black pointy gladiators. My next favourite item from Resort 09 comes from Elie Tahari. I really adore my Elie Tahari white ruffled blouse which I found very soft and can be easily matched with my other outfits. So the last picture that shows us this beautiful painted flowy dress is obviously from Elie Tahari! One word: lovely!

Highlights On Resort 09

First of all, Stella McCartney has done a remarkable job with her new Resort 09 collection. I love the bright colour blazers which are the best summer staples in my opinion. Love love love the electric blue blazers with giant buttons and also the black tulip pants plus the cropped one. Alexander McQueen has done it again with vivid hues and sparkling dress... I like the structured black blazer which is paired with very tight shocking pink and nude pants (leggings?). It kinda reminded me of the YSL structured blazer at the S/S 2008 collection.

Balenciaga Resort 09

Not only Lanvin, Balenciaga has won my heart too for its Resort 09 collection! Just look at the details of the designs; so sleek and structured! I'm in love with the details on the grey pants! So cool! Also loving the white structured blouse which the model wore with black waterfall skirt. Kinda similar with the previous Fall 08 collection which featured futuristic robotic like designs. I just hope that Balenciaga bisa continue untuk memproduksi sepatu-sepatu yang unique and avant-garde seperti koleksi-koleksi sebelumnya (and please Club 21! Get the Balenciaga Shoes!!!) LOL

Lanvin Resort 09

Wow! This Lanvin Resort 09 collection just blew me away! Warna-warna softnya scream elegance and playfulness. Entah kenapa, Lanvin sedang hobi memproduksi busana-busana dengan warna beige, nudish, and creamy and it was also shown in its fall 08 collection which was quite fascinating for me. Overall, aku seneng banget atas karya dari Alber Elbaz untuk Lanvin Resort 09 karena telah berhasil menciptakan karya-karya yang simpel tapi tidak kehilangan gairah summer holiday!
